In the grand entry of this Pacific Heights Francophile estate, we replaced the oak parquet floor with diamond-patterned stone and wood inlaid paving. Skurman Architects juxtaposed its geometry with the curvilinear staircase, which embraces a Ruth Asawa sculpture.
