👀 Look at the size difference! We collected these mosquitoes during our recent emergency response efforts in Texas. The top mosquito is a Psorophora ciliata also known as a Gallinipper, often known for its huge size and painful bites, while the one below is Aedes species a more typical-sized mosquito. #MosquitoFunFacts #Gallinippers #MosquitoControl

Check out what our team in Louisiana is up to! They recently conducted efficacy testing to ensure our applications are effectively controlling the local mosquitoes. Here’s how it works! Mosquitoes are captured, exposed to insecticide via truck, then taken to a lab and given a sugar solution to ensure they don’t die from malnutrition or dehydration. After 12 hours, our team assesses the mortality rate and adjusts application techniques or products, if necessary, to improve effectiveness and reduce resistance. #Insecticide #LocalMosquitoControl #EfficacyTesting
