We wanted to take the time to shout out Tasha Cutter, she is a Vector employee who received a the game ball at the Dallas Mavericks game in support of their "Young People with Cancer" Campaign. This is what Tasha had to say: "Last night, I had the incredible honor of being presented with the game ball at the Dallas Mavericks game. This special moment was part of an event sponsored by UT Southwestern Medical Center as part of their “Young People with Cancer” campaign. Currently, I am battling Stage 4 leiomyosarcoma, a rare and aggressive form of cancer, and this opportunity allowed me to bring attention to my journey and help raise awareness about this disease. Standing on that court, I felt empowered to represent others fighting this battle, and I’m grateful to UT Southwestern and the Dallas Mavericks for supporting and highlighting this cause." #cancersupport #awareness #mavericks

Vector Force Development is proud to award the Safety Commendation Coin for excellence in the field to Shane Medley and JC Gordon on Friday, November 1st. The #Safety Commendation Coin is presented multiple times a year, following acts of exceptional safety, hazard prevention, innovation, and leadership. Each recipient receives a prize package, including a bag, water bottle, thermos, commemorative coin with holder, hard hat sticker, certificate, t-shirt, and a $250 bonus. Shane Medley has demonstrated outstanding safety initiative by identifying and reporting hazards across various locations, extending his diligence to include non-Vector municipal organizations when necessary. JC Gordon took quick action upon spotting a burning car on the roadside, positioning his vehicle to create a safety buffer and manage traffic until firefighters arrived. Both Shane and JC serve as Traffic Control Technician Foremen in the Kansas City area, exemplifying Vector Force Development’s highest standards of safety excellence. #EmployeeAppreciation #Community

General Foreman at Vector Force Development --

This years Fall Picnic was a success! It was a pleasure getting to meet and interact with our employees families. We had pumpkin painting, games, trucks on display and plenty of food! We truly have an outstanding group of men and women who go above and beyond everyday to provide safe work zones for the public, our customers and each other. I’m extremely proud and grateful to be apart of Kansas City’s Traffic Control Team.

Saturday, we had the honor and privilege to attend the Light the Night event in Seattle, WA as a local sponsor! What The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society has done and continues to do for families and individuals faced with the arduous battle against blood cancer is nothing short of miraculous. We had such a great time getting to spend the evening with not only our team but members of our #Seattle community. It's times like this that reinforce the impact that we all can have when serve and support each other and especially those in need. If you would like to help support The LLS, you can still donate to blood cancer research at https://lnkd.in/eHEYJ2Ef #lighthenight #lls #cancerresearch

Tonight we stepped away from work put the phones down for a couple of hours for a thank you to our team who stepped up in a huge way. To say I’m proud of this team is a understatement they live up to Vectors core values daily and especially during the past hurricanes that rocked the southeast they packed up and left family and friends behind to help those in need. This truly is what it’s all about family. #VFD #family #SVDOB

Our crews in Joplin, MO had the opportunity to participate in the World of Mears event, where families and community members can learn a little more about the kinds of work we do out in the field. We had a great turn out of over 200 people between Mears Group, Inc. and Vector employees!   A Vector foreman wanted to give a special shoutout to Logan Lindsay. "He was diligent in helping the day before with measuring and prestaging items that we could. He demonstrated the core values by volunteering his time to make the event space what it was, and allowed Chris and myself the ability to enjoy the event with our families." We are always happy to be involved in our communities. Keep up the great work on and off of the jobsites! #community #education #construction
