Wheelchair from Honda.
Revolutionizing personal mobility! Honda has just unveiled the Uni-One, a futuristic 'personal mobility device' that lets you move around by simply shifting your body weight. No joystick, just glide! It's designed to give freedom to those with mobility challenges and to offer a quick way to move for busy office workers. With self-balancing wheels, a 4 mph top speed, and a 5-mile range, it’s set for a global launch in 2025. But at $775 a month, is it a game-changer or just a pricey gadget? What do you think about the potential of such technology? #HondaUniOne #FutureOfMobility #Innovation #TechDebate #AI #CroAI #AILawyer

Great thinking from VentureDNA friend James Joaquin.
Generative media has been a revolution. But the next wave of generative AI — what I’m calling generative science — will be far more consequential to the human race and usher in the next wave of trillion-dollar companies. I believe generative science will emerge as humanity’s greatest invention because it is, for the first time, an invention that can invent. The idea behind generative science is simple: train AI on our knowledge of the physical sciences, like chemistry and biology, and then utilize that AI to generate scientific predictions for new materials, drugs, and vaccines. I wrote about how #GenSci is already enabling breakthroughs across energy and pharma, with enormous potential for the future of our species and our planet. Read more here: https://lnkd.in/gYtQ7rR7 Check out Zanskar Geothermal & Minerals, Inc., Recursion, and Inceptive as examples of early #GenSci leaders backed by Obvious Ventures.

Motorola is pushing the boundaries of smartphone innovation with their new concept - a flexible smartphone that you can wear on your wrist like a slap bracelet! This 'adaptive display' concept, showcased at the annual Lenovo Tech World event. The flexible phone sports a 6.9-inch diagonal screen with FHD+ resolution. It has a unique fabric material at the back panel, which seemingly offers a good grip on the hand. Motorola has developed a generative AI model that runs locally on the device to allow users to extend their personal style to their phone. While most LLMs run cloud-based operations, MotoAI (Lenovo personal assistant) can process data and run tasks locally on-device. which offers users enhanced data privacy. With this concept, users can upload or capture a picture of their outfit to produce multiple unique AI-generated images that reflect their style Back in 2016, both Motorola and a Chinese startup, Moxi Group, introduced similar concepts. The future of smartphones could be more flexible than we ever imagined! Do you think iPhone should do something similar? #Motorola #SmartPhone #TechNews Motorola Mobility (a Lenovo Company) #LenovoTechWorld
