Being a Veriheal patient is about more than just getting a medical card -- we also partner up with brands and dispensaries around the nation to help you better source the wellness products you need! One of our favorite brands is Cookies, an iconic dispensary chain on a mission to provide real healing to everyone who walks through its doors. Our team recently had the opportunity to travel to one of their Florida locations and learn about their mission firsthand, and now we want to share it with you. To find out more about Cookies and the work they're doing, click the link to read the article and watch the full video! 🎥 🍪

Yesterday, we dropped the second episode of our podcast Room 420! This episode, our host and Editor in Chief Kymberly Drapcho is joined by Michael Diaz-Rivera, a cannabis business owner in Denver, Colorado. Michael’s cannabis delivery business, Better Days Delivery, has partnered with Veriheal to ensure that local medical cannabis patients have easy access to the medicine they need. In this episode, he shares his personal experience with medical cannabis, his journey from patient to business owner, and his dream munchies spread. It was such a pleasure having him on the show, learning about his work and the medical patients he supports in Denver. We'd really appreciate if you could give it a watch/listen! https://lnkd.in/g2vm3-Nj

We've been hard at work reviving our podcast, and we're so excited to share the results with you! For our first episode, we took a deep dive into the intersection of cannabis and spirituality to learn more about how it can enhance total mind and body wellness. 🧘♀️✨️🔮 Do you use cannabis for spiritual purposes? Let us know! And be on the lookout for future episodes, where we'll continue exploring the evolving role of cannabis in modern society. 🍃
Super proud and excited to announce that the Room 420 podcast (powered by Veriheal) is now back from the dead -- and I get to host it! For our first episode, Krystal R. from Etherally Elevated joined me to share her personal experience with medical cannabis and how that journey inspired her to help her clients use the plant more intentionally. It was an insightful conversation, a reminder of the importance of widespread cannabis access, and, truthfully, just a lot of fun. Check out our full conversation here: https://lnkd.in/gD2SuiZN

🔴 🍑 Attention Georgia MMJ Patients and Medical Cannabis Advocates 🍑 🔴 The Georgia Department of Public Health has unfortunately chosen to ignore/misinterpret a new law (SB495) that medical cannabis advocates are trying to pass. This law aims to make it easier for patients to receive their medical cannabis cards by mail or email. However, lawmakers are insisting on keeping the current process, which means patients sometimes have to drive over an hour to pick up their cards at Department of Public Health offices. We can all help by voicing our concerns via email on or before August 16, 2024 and/or by attending the virtual meeting at 2 p.m. on August 15, 2024. We all currently have the opportunity to make meaningful change for Georgia’s medical cannabis patients! 📩 The person to email is: 📩 Jeffrey T. Rickman General Counsel Georgia Department of Public Health jeffrey.rickman@dph.ga.gov When commenting, be sure to highlight the following points: • Medical cannabis cards should be mailed or emailed to patients, as many are unable to pick up their cards in person at DPH offices. • For many in the state, the closest DPH office issuing the cards is over an hour away. • Senator Sam Watson sponsored this bill, and the legislature passed it with the sole goal of making it easier for patients to receive their cards by mail or email. The DPH's current interpretation does not achieve this goal and continues to hinder the medical cannabis program. For anyone interested in reading the proposed rules, they are posted on the Department’s website at: https://lnkd.in/gtNVmA8r
