Verity Platforms Inc is an early-stage, fintech, public benefit corporation that is building a sustainability platform to address market deficiencies with the allocation of capital to important societal challenges. Recognizing any viable solution requires input from a diversity of disciplines along with the proper alignment of economic incentives, the platform aims to amplify the representation of stakeholders in capital markets, facilitate collaborative analysis and engagement between companies, investors and stakeholders while ensuring compensation is provided to creators when their research is utilized.

    The panel session on The Changing ESG Landscape provided an excellent overview of the current state of ESG, sustainability and challenges being addressed. Wendy Mailot (MFS Investment Management), moderated the session which included subject matter experts Jackie VanderBrug (Putnam Investments), Mason Gregory (Verity Platforms Inc), and Harry Stahl (FIS). A number of interesting topics were addressed including AI’s impact on sustainability and stewardship, and navigating the variations and complexities across jurisdictions. #ISITCSummit2024 #ESG #sustainability

    ❓ Would you like to help us create a critical mass of diversified protein adopters in the public markets? 🌱 VegTech Invest is excited to announce our Protein Diversification and Disclosures stakeholder engagement, led by Chief Investment Officer, Dr. Sasha Goodman. 🌿 This initiative engages companies, especially those with emerging plant-based offerings, to advance and grow their plant-centric portfolio of products, enhancing BIODIVERSITY and FINANCIAL RESILIENCE. 🐄 It also advocates for enhanced transparency from all companies, including those already fully dedicated to plant-based products, to make protein diversification disclosures in line with the FAIRR Initiative and The Good Food Institute framework. This will communicate to a wider audience the sustainable impact of Plant-based Innovation proteins. 📈 Our intention is to also accelerate the growth of the framework by persuading companies (1) that protein diversification with Plant-based Innovation can bolster financial performance by reducing supply chain risks and increasing financial resilience and (2) that protein diversification through Plant-based Innovation and disclosures of the same can potentially attract more impact investors.   ✏️ Your participation would significantly amplify our efforts.
