Take Control.

About us

Vertech is an industrial control systems integration firm providing a complete range of engineering and technical services. We work with system owners, engineering firms, contractors, and OEMs to design and build world-class industrial control systems. All of our systems use readily available industrial control hardware and software from brand-name industry leaders such as Siemens, Inductive Automation, Rockwell Automation (Allen-Bradley), Invensys (Wonderware), Schneider Electric (Modicon), Phoenix Contact, and others. Our highly talented engineers, programmers, and technicians are specially trained and experienced in analyzing how various industrial equipment and systems work, and then they use a combination of electrical equipment and software to give that equipment life. You could say our systems are the souls of machines. Vertech is registered with the State of Arizona as a professional engineering firm, we are a Premier Integrator with Inductive Automation, a Siemens Solution Partner, a Rockwell Automation Solution Partner, and an Invensys Archestra Certified System Integrator. Vertech maintains a UL508a/698/1203 certified panel shop, and we are a registered electrical contractor in Arizona and California. Vertech is a member of the Control System Integrator's Association.

You may have heard about how Flexware Innovation tried to copy our super 𝘬𝘦𝘸𝘭 baseball outfits at ICC. ⚾😤 What you probably didn't hear was that a brawl broke out about who wore it better. (Kidding, of course!) Thanks, Team Flexware, for the fun memory and to Inductive Automation for capturing this hilarious moment. It's anniversary month! 20 years ago, Titus Crabb started Vertech with the goal of being a place where smart, good-hearted people can build cool stuff while still being valued as human. He was quickly joined by founding partner Bob Morris. Together, they began to shape the company and fun culture we now know and love. 150+ employees and 4 offices later, Vertech is still all about elevating human well-being... through our control systems and, more importantly, how we treat each other. I hope you're enjoying the free anniversary-themed T-shirts! We'd love to see you wearing them. Comment your selfie below or post a pic with the hashtag #Vertech20

Thanks Inductive Automation for another great Ignition conference! Here are some key takeaways from ICC 2024 and the Ignition 8.3 release: 𝟭. 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗩𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹 is easier in Ignition thanks to the new "Deployment Modes." This will make managing project resources considerably cleaner and more effective. 𝟮. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗣𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗛𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻 will provide a huge performance boost and the Historian API should make Ignition even more interoperable. 𝟯. 𝗘𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗱𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗿𝗲𝘁𝘀 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 will streamline our integration with authentication services. We'll now have the ability to use both encrypted embedded secrets alongside the external reference secrets from credential handler extension points. 𝟰. 𝗘𝗻𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗚𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗴𝘂𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀: With Ignition 8.3, exposing the configurations of the Gateway through JSON files and API calls allows us to seamlessly update and deploy Gateways with pre-configured settings. This is a game-changer for efficiency! 𝟱. 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘀 means we can now filter event source data into a pipeline, making data manipulation or integration with different sources easier than ever. 𝟲. 𝗦𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗺 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 in Perspective streamlines the creation and utilization of forms, making processes cleaner and more simpler. 𝟳. 𝗠𝗤𝗧𝗧 𝗔𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗺 𝗔𝗰𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: This feature is set to be monumental for some of our projects! 𝟴. 𝗗𝗿𝗮𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀: We finally have a parameterized SVG drawing tool in Perspective!!! No more relying on messy imports of free SVG software images. In other words, we're super pumped you can draw a circle. Beyond the Ignition highlights, our team enjoyed the IA-moderated Table Talks and integrator-led presentations, which sparked creative ideas and showed off a wide range of Ignition use cases. It was great to connect with friends and Ignition staff (some of whom we had only met virtually!) in a friendly and collaborative space. Also, did we mention the robot dogs? A big thank you to everyone who makes ICC possible! #ICCBreakthrough Chris McLaughlin Titus Crabb Bradley Porceng Regan Givens Robert Simpson Kelvin Encalada Joe Bravo

What does it take to win "Best Presentation" during Vertech's FedEx Day? 🎆 Fireworks! And maybe some killer video editing skills. 😉 Congrats to Team Pyro Pioneers - Chris McLaughlin, Addison Waege, Tyler Willis, Jacob Schechter - for a stunning video presentation (edited here for length) showcasing their Fireworks Ignition app developed with #Ignition by Inductive Automation. Amateur fireworks enthusiasts can now safely create their own timed, automated fireworks sequences just like the pros! Which #fireworks would you use and what would you nickname them (yeet, kamikazi, boom)? Let us know in the comments below! 👇
