Last Friday, our incredible Immersion Interns wrapped up their summer journey with us by delivering their final presentations! We’re thrilled to share that 72% of these talented individuals are either extending their internships or joining us as full-time team members. In this rendition of “In Good Company” we get to hear from Mark Migneco, a Loan Coordinator located in St. Louis!   In the spring of 2021, Mark was working in car sales. The job was very demanding, and he was looking for a change of pace with more work/life balance. After hearing about VU through his friend Zack Schwartz, Mark applied for a role. He joined VU's St. Louis crew in July 2021 and hasn't looked back.   We asked his teammate Crystal Remmel what it's like working with Mark and she shared, “Mark is one of the friendliest people here at Tango [our St. Louis office]. He's willing to strike up a convo with anyone and gives some sage advice to those who need it.” We couldn't agree more!   We're excited to share a little about Mark Migneco, his passions, his family (three human sons, one dog son), and his outlook on life. From the early days as an Account Manager to her current role keeping us compliant, she's seen a lot of the mortgage business from top to bottom. That’s right—compliance! Angie serves as our Compliance Officer, and her team works hard behind the scenes to support every department across the company. This summer, our Impact Squad small group is on a mission to strengthen our community connections! Each week, they engage with nonprofits such as The Food Bank for Central & Northeast Missouri and Woodhaven. By learning about their missions, the issues they address, and the populations they serve, the Impact Squad identifies ways VU can support their work.
