Today is the day! Your final chance to make a lasting impact during San Diego Gives. But today is not just any day—it's also the International Day of Charity, a global call to action, and September marks Suicide Awareness Month, a time to stand united in support of mental health and suicide prevention. Your support has never been more crucial. As we navigate these final hours, we need your help to lift up our local veteran and military community. These brave men and women have given so much, and now it's our turn to give back. Why Your Support Matters: Impact: Your donations are the lifeline that allows us to deliver essential career coaching, mentoring, and training to veterans and their families. Every dollar you contribute directly reduces unemployment, prevents veteran suicides, and empowers military spouses to find meaningful civilian careers. Your support is not just a donation; it's a life-changing investment in our heroes' futures. Community: Together, we are a force for good. By joining hands, we’re making San Diego a better place for those who have sacrificed so much for our country. How You Can Help: Donate to VETS - Beyond The Uniform (https://lnkd.in/gBme582Y): Even the smallest contribution can make a world of difference. Your generosity today can change lives—please consider donating now. Share: Spread the word by sharing our campaign with #SanDiegoGives. Let your community know that supporting our active duty, veterans, and military spouses is a cause worth championing. This is the moment to make a difference. Your support today will help veterans and their families gain the resources they need to thrive in civilian life. Let’s honor their service by standing with them now. Thank you for being a part of this important mission! VETS - Beyond The Uniform If you're undecided on where to donate, consider supporting the "Love Them All Fund," which benefits multiple local nonprofits. #SanDiegoGives #DayOfGiving #CollectiveImpact #SupportOurVeterans #MilitaryFamilies #SanDiego #VeteranSupport #Empowerment #Community #MissionDriven #CommunitySupport #Donate

Providing Veterans with Critical Skills Needed for Success in the Civilian Workforce.
About us
A different type of Coaching & Mentoring Program Veterans Educational Transformation Solutions: (VETS) - Beyond The Uniform is a coaching & mentoring program designed for veterans & employers by veterans The VETS - Beyond the Uniform program has been developed by military veterans with the specific goals of helping veterans make a successful journey from the military into the civilian workforce, and to also help employers that hire veterans become "veteran ready". Not a Transition Program! There are 100's of transition programs available to transitioning military veterans. There are so many, that it sometimes gets confusing trying to identify the differences and benefits of each one. So we decided to NOT be a typical transition program. VETS - Beyond the Uniform's mission is to augment the skills taught by military transition programs and work to improve the veterans chances for successful long term careers by providing the additional skills used in the civilian workforce. Our program is designed to work as a standalone veteran's mentoring program or alongside existing military transition programs. Veterans have received basic military training and have been provided the additional occupational training required to perform in their military roles. However, even the best trained veterans may be missing the key skills needed to successfully integrate into today’s civilian workforce. Unlike a lot of the other programs, VETS - Beyond the Uniform provides veterans over 200 free soft-skills training workshops, webinars, and self-paced online training to help them successfully integrate and to be effective in the business world and civilian workforce. We provide the required skills and eliminate the culture shock between military & corporate cultures. The VETS - Beyond the Uniform program also provides coaching and mentoring support for companies and organizations looking to implement successful "veteran ready" hiring & retention programs.
