At Via Licensing Alliance, our Tuesday team lunches have become a tradition! Each week, we look forward to checking in, sharing some laughs, and enjoying some time together as a team. Yesterday, we had a chance to reflect on our successful Bridge Summit from last week and look ahead to the rest of this year.   It's amazing how just a little time together deepens relationships and promotes meaningful conversations amongst the team. A big thank you to everyone who makes these possible! 

We're still riding the high from our second annual #BridgeSummit last week!   This past Friday, we wrapped up the event with exciting excursions that showcased the best of the Bay Area. From a golf outing and a guided wine tour in Sonoma to sailing on the San Francisco Bay and exploring culinary gems in North Beach, participants ended the week on a fantastic note.   A huge thank you to all our speakers, attendees, and partners for making this year's Bridge Summit a success. We can’t wait to see you all again next year!

Such an exciting and fun panel at the 2024 Via Licensing Bridge Summit. Honored to participate alongside these IP Licensing Legends Gustav Brismark Eeva Hakoranta and John Han ( or as I described them during the panel as the  “OGs of Licensing” ). It was a wide ranging conversation exploring the past experiences, present and future ambitions of the Qualcomm, Interdigital, and Ericsson licensing programs, along with a few funny stories from our experiences in the field.  #BridgeSummit Via Licensing Alliance

Great insights and discussions today from our panelists at the #BridgeSummit IP Conference. We heard about the China SEP licensing landscape from Xiaomi’s Ran Xu, listened to viewpoints from innovative legacy licensors such as InterDigital's Eeva Hakoranta, enjoyed a fireside chat on key patent licensing topics of the day with two former justices, Hon. Kathleen M. O'Malley and Hon. Sir Christopher Floyd, gained content licensing insights from Meta’s Shayne O'Reilly and Orange's Lyse Brillouet, among others, and heard from many other experts throughout the day too numerous to name. Valuable info for all participants to take back once the summit concludes!

Lots of buzz as our #BridgeSummit IP Conference gets underway. Our President Heath Hoglund kicked off the day with welcome remarks, which were followed by an outstanding set of morning panel sessions. Before lunch, we were pleased to honor Stefan Geyersberger with our inaugural Golden Bridge Award in honor of his remarkable career, in which he accomplished so much. Congratulations Stefan, and thanks to our expert panelists!

Attendees of the Via #BridgeSummit are gathering for our Summit Reception at the Fairmont Hotel’s scenic Rooftop Garden in San Francisco, an ideal setting to welcome additional new participants in tomorrow’s IP Conference. We’re excited for a great day of stimulating content and discussion tomorrow, which will feature insights from some of the brightest minds and biggest influencers within the #IP space.

A Night to Remember at the Via LA #BridgeSummit!   Tonight we joined with licensors from all of Via LA’s patent pools for dinner at the elegant University Club atop Nob Hill in San Francisco, just across the street from the Fairmont Hotel. Earlier today, we held several licensor meetings for our key pools, with more to follow tomorrow before we kick off Thursday’s IP Conference.   Great to hear the ideas and dialogue flow as participants from around the world come together during this outstanding week.
