🚀 LAUNCH ALERT 🚀 We’re thrilled to announce the launch of our new video interview series, Viaduct Visionaries! We created Viaduct Visionaries to hear firsthand from industry pioneers about how data and AI are transforming the automotive industry. No buzzwords. No fluff. Just real conversations – and real insights. And what better guest to inaugurate the new series than Scott Garberding – the legendary leader who spent decades at the helm of quality, manufacturing, and other functional areas at FCA Fiat Chrysler Automobiles and Stellantis. In this conversation with Viaduct COO Matej Drev, Scott shares his perspective on: ➡️ How he realized the potential of connected vehicle data before it was an industry-wide focus ➡️ Why quality leaders are swimming in a lot of data – but lack key insights ➡️ What world-class OEM quality teams do differently Check out the comments for a link to the full video. ⬇️

At Viaduct, we're all trail blazers... We recently took to the biking and hiking trails in Lake Tahoe to spend time with each other in the great outdoors. It was an incredible chance to bond, celebrate recent milestones, and watch some of our fearless team members navigate mountain terrain on dirt bikes. 🚵♀️ We’re energized by delivering value to our customers – and by the chance to work with smart, driven people who share a passion for unlocking the power of connected vehicle data. Thanks, team, for an incredible retreat! Here’s to continuing to forge new trails together. P.S. We're hiring! Link to open roles in the comments ⬇️

It’s hard to build the right data infrastructure for connected vehicle data at scale. 🕜 Organizing the data so that simple queries don’t take hours to run 🔧 Making it easy to generate new features from raw telematics data 🔎 Providing tools for exploratory analysis – so that everyone from analyst to quality engineer can answer questions quickly ✨ Enriching data with AI that’s purpose built for large-scale, time-series data In our latest blog post, we share how we built this at Viaduct – and what we recommend for other teams embarking on similar projects. 📈 Breaking: the market for construction equipment telematics is exploding, poised to grow by 4x over the coming years. What’s the opportunity of all this connected equipment data? As Rajat Yadav of JCB India Ltd. puts it: “By analysing telematics data, companies can predict when a machine is likely to fail, enabling preventive maintenance, minimising breakdowns, and avoiding costly downtime.” Digital transformation, enabled by the right AI, will redefine equipment uptime and customer experience for construction manufacturers. 🌽 The market for agriculture telematics is expected to double over the next 6 years. But so far, the rapid growth in connected equipment hasn’t translated to lower downtime on the farm. The cost of equipment repairs alone has shot up by over 40% since 2020. And in the low-margin, highly seasonal farming business, every minute of downtime matters. Our latest blog post dives into why agriculture telematics alone isn’t enough to improve equipment reliability and performance – and how Viaduct helps. Link in comments below. ⬇️

“Electric motors won't cut it: the mobility of the future demands data and infrastructure.” Last week, founder and CEO David Hallac spoke at Italian Tech Week on the future of mobility and Viaduct’s journey so far. For our Italian speakers 🇮🇹 (well…and the rest of us using Google translate), check out this great writeup in La Repubblica about Viaduct and our fellow speakers. “Thanks to machine learning algorithms that process the data collected from the vehicles, it is possible not only to identify faults or potential anomalies – but also to predict their state of health over time. “ Grazie, Italian Tech Week, for a great conversation!
