    Last week, our Asian Learning, Leadership, & Innovation Network (ALL IN), Women’s Inclusion Network (WIN), and Abled and Disabled Allies Partnering Together (ADAPT) Inclusion Resource Groups (IRGs) provided an inspiring look at the collaborative development of Victoria’s Secret’s mastectomy bras in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The event featured breast surgeon Dr. Winnie Polen, DO, AVP of Design AMELIA WRIGHTSON, AVP of Community Relations Leslie Nixon, and was moderated by AVP of External Communications and Co-Lead of WIN Brooke Wilson. Thank you to all panelists and IRG leaders for bringing this important conversation to life.     During Fashion Week Columbus, the VS&Co Office of DEI proudly sponsored the Curve Premiere Runway Show organized by the Columbus Fashion Alliance, which celebrated the beauty and inclusion of diverse body shapes and sizes in the fashion industry. At the event, members of our VS Wear Test team and VS Technical Design team invited women to a personalized bra fitting to gain valuable insights about sizing needs as part of our ongoing commitment to ensure our products best meet the needs of all customers.

    Recently, our ADAPT Inclusion Resource Group (IRG), for associates with disabilities, caregivers and allies, and Conexión, our IRG for associates who identify as Hispanic and/or Latinx and their allies, hosted a session featuring public speaker, DEIA consultant and content creator Catarina Rivera, MSEd, MPH, CPACC. During the event, Catarina shared her personal story as a disabled Latiné woman to help foster a more inclusive world. A special thank you Catarina for sharing her journey with us, and both ADAPT and Conexión for organizing such an inspiring intersectional event!

    Last Friday, the TODAY Show on NBC aired an exclusive interview and Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show collection shopping segment with Tyra Banks, Zanna Roberts Rassi, Hoda Kotb, and Jenna Bush Hager. Tyra discussed her career and time with Victoria’s Secret while giving insight about her favorite pre-and-post-show must haves. The “Shop the Drop” segment highlighted the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show and holiday product, providing viewers the opportunity to shop the collection in real time and creating more ways to engage our customers. Throughout the week, they dive deep into our holiday assortment, explore upcoming marketing campaigns, and gain valuable business insights from our leadership team, including EVP of Stores Becky Behringer and CEO Hillary Super. By the end of the conference, our store leaders leave inspired, well-prepared, and ready to create memorable experiences for our customers this holiday season.     As part of our ongoing commitment to recruit and engage with a diverse pipeline of early talent candidates, we are proud of our continued partnership with University of Arizona's The Terry J. Lundgren Center for Retailing for the 3rd year in a row. In September, we attended their annual Retail Fuse where we were able to connect with students in their fashion and retail programs to discuss potential opportunities within our organization. We hosted a panel featuring our very own, Daniela Tehranchi, Manager of Recruiting and Employer Brand and Blair Nelson Alexander, Manager of Talent Development as they spoke with students about the power of amplifying their personal brand as they step into their professional job search. We also hosted a Merchandising information session with Lindsey Nelson, Merchant 5/$30 Panty Bar, as she discussed the product lifecycle and a day in the life of a Merchant for Victoria's Secret.
