Who knows that work is the reward? These guys! Each week our young men compete to be eligible to work; building incredible work ethic so they will successful in whatever career they choose. We need your support to continue and expand these opportunities. Give, volunteer and advocate.

We have another opportunity to recognize one of our weekend warriors, James 'Coach' Reese, for his one-year anniversary with VP. Coach retired from Catapiller Inc, and has brought a wealth of knowledge and experience to us. Thank you, Sir. We are all beneficiaries of your mentorship and servant-heart.

VP offers America's youth an alternative to the streets. Young men, 12-18 voluntarily participate in our 3E curriculum; Education, Entrepreneurship & Enlightenment. Like Anthony, who arrives after school to do homework before heading to the gym. We all have gifts and talents, but sometimes, due to circumstances, we haven't discovered them. Our role is to provide an environment where our young men can find the life that God intended for them through love and accountability. Our motto says, "It's less about what we do and more about what we undo." We need your support to continue providing and expanding this unique opportunity. We recently celebrated David Riel's two-year anniversary. Dave is one of the unsung heros that gives up his Saturday to lead our young men at our micro-buisness. One of our core values, "Work is the reward," is exemplified by his contribution and sacrifice. Thank you Dave & Christy!

Charles Simms gave us a personal tour of some much needed affordable housing in West Dayton. In addition, he provided dinner, and spent the evening with our high school students. Sir, thank you for investing in our VP youth and community through Charles Simms Development.
