Reunited, and it feels so good... To celebrate the first anniversary of the Penn Medicine | Virtua Health Proton Therapy Center, grateful patients and their families reunited with their care teams to celebrate and express their appreciation for one another. Since opening last year, our team has been honored to care for 150 patients who traveled from across the state, as well as from Central Pennsylvania and even Florida, to receive this highly targeted cancer treatment. “I’m lucky and thankful to have proton therapy services available here in South Jersey and so close to my home,” said Kyersten Corda, a breast cancer survivor who spoke at the reunion. “I’m also grateful that my cancer team includes incredible doctors and nurses from both Virtua and Penn Medicine.” Thank you to everyone who attended this meaningful event and celebrated this milestone with us.

Here's all the reasons why we loved participating in the Evesham National Night Out last month: - We got to connect with neighbors from our community. - The games and activities were a blast! - We got to educate our community on stroke awareness and information. - Oh, and there were puppies And the puppy cuddles were everything. Thanks so much for having us out Evesham Township!

Here is an early look at Rowan University's future facility for veterinary medicine, biomedical research, and far more. Virtua leaders were invited to participate in a beam-signing ceremony for this new addition to Rowan's West Campus, which will be the university's largest academic facility when it opens next fall. Who knows what discoveries and breakthroughs will emerge from this health education hub. We can't wait to find out!

At Virtua Health, we often call our colleagues rock stars. But Tim Segado, network engineer, takes that one step further. In addition to making sure our network runs in perfect harmony, Tim spends his free time engineering harmonious tunes. He writes and produces music under the name "Miles Before Sleep" and currently has an EP available on your favorite streaming platforms. So yeah, I guess you can say we're huge fans of Tim, both in and out of the workplace. Catch the full episode here: https://lnkd.in/efdQtnUn
