We're dedicated to protecting Camden's kiddos! Recently, we hosted a fun lead testing event at the Acelero Learning Kroc Center, helping families learn more about lead exposure. With 14% of Camden's children facing elevated lead levels—far above the national average—our Pediatric Mobile Services vehicles were on-site to provide free lead testing. And the best part? As the curtain falls on another season at the Freedom Mortgage Pavilion, we wanted to take a moment to shine a spotlight on all the fantastic people who make this partnership so special. First, a huge shoutout to the crew at FMP for their warm hospitality and making us feel right at home! Alisha embodies what it means to lead with purpose and dedication as a nurse on our PCU. Since taking the helm of our Unit Shared Governance, she has inspired remarkable staff participation and focused on enhancing team morale. Her initiatives, such as the Kindness Board for staff appreciation and fun events like "Crazy Sock Day," have transformed the atmosphere of her unit. In her roles as a charge nurse and preceptor, Alisha tirelessly educates and supports both her patients and fellow nurses. Her commitment to improving outcomes for advanced heart failure patients is truly commendable - she often comes in on her days off to gather data and collaborate with her team on process improvements. Thanks to Alisha’s kindness and leadership, her unit has become a welcoming environment, leaving a lasting impact on both staff and patients. Many have referred to her as their angel, acknowledging the warmth and support she provides during challenging times. It's for these reasons and many more that we're proud to present Alisha with the WE Award for Purposeful Leadership.

This past weekend, we celebrated heart health in style! A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us for our Heart Health Fair, where we enjoyed a day full of fun and education. From fitness demonstrations and live music to free health screenings and delicious healthy snacks, it was a fantastic event for all ages!
