"Based on my discussions with others and my own tracking data over thousands of fittings, the average cost to build a single ITM is 4 hours. Some are easy and quick. Others are not. The actual building of the ITM isn’t even the bulk of the time. Your costs are finding the sometimes impossible to find submitted data. Only to find you’re missing critical dimensions and need to check with the factory’s engineering team. Pattern/ITM issues. You’re then looking up labor and pricing codes, strategizing on connectivity naming, new materials, file/Folder organization, product information, QA/QC, testing in ESTmep, CADmep, Revit, CAM, gathering Fitting graphics, etc. I’ll knock out a single ITM once in a while.
