British Airways has announced they will increase nonstop flights from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) to London-Heathrow, with twice a day, six days a week service, starting March 2025. The UK continues to be a growing market for Austin and this expansion is further proof of that. Visit Austin wrapped up our UK summer activations with a success at Meatopia in London in partnership with Travel Texas. The four day food festival included amazing bites from local Austin pit master Evan LeRoy of LeRoy and Lewis. The 16,000 festival attendees also experienced Austin at our activation space celebrating the 50th season of Austin City Limits Television show and went home with customized Austin bandanas.
