⚠️ NATURAL DISASTER ALERT ⚠️ As Hurricane Francine makes landfall in Louisiana, hundreds of donations have gone uncollected as blood drives and donation centers in impacted areas have canceled or closed to ensure the safety of our donors and team members. While inclement weather and natural disasters can disrupt the blood supply, patients' needs can’t wait. Donors of all blood types are urgently needed, with a critical need for type O blood donors. If you’re in an unaffected area, please schedule an appointment in the coming days and weeks to help offset the impacts from the storm and ensure patients are supported in their time of need. #GiveBlood: vitalant.org
