About us

George Vitense Golfland, located conveniently at Whitney Way & West Beltline Highway in the heart of the west side of Madison, Wisconsin, was founded in 1955 by George Vitense. Although George Vitense died in 1988, his grandson, Joel Weitz, President & PGA Professional of Vitense Golfland. Today, we have continued our family vision of high quality, affordable, family golf & sports related entertainment. The facility includes a Top 50 Rated Golf Range in America with 25 heated and cover Golf Suites (56 Bays) open all year round, the first lighted golf course in the State of Wisconsin and the only lighted Par 3 Golf Course in the area, nationally recognized by Golf.Com as the #1 Miniature Golf Course In Wisconsin; featuring 2 18-Hole Outdoor Courses and 1 18-Hole INDOOR Madison Landmark, and 8 baseball and softball batting cages, All activities are available at night.
