Adam Waltuch, EVP of Global Distribution and Partnerships at TelevisaUnivision, joined the ‘Perfecting the Business of Streaming’ panel yesterday at the Variety Entertainment & Technology Summit. Adam, who oversees the global distribution of the company’s linear and streaming properties – including ViX – spoke about the differentiated opportunity that our streaming service offers, its unique offering to both consumers and advertisers in serving Hispanics, and the growing momentum following a successful first half of 2024.

We’re excited to introduce Y LLEGARON DE NOCHE, a new ViX original comedy series starring, produced, and directed by the multi-talented Eugenio Derbez and 3Pas Studios. This compelling series, inspired by true events, tells the entertaining story of a group of underdogs who brought Dracula to life in Spanish—creating a version widely considered superior to the original.     Premiering October 4, exclusively on ViX’s Premium Plan, the first two episodes will drop all at once, with new episodes released every Friday. ViX COO Rafael Urbina-Quintero spoke with Digiday, discussing all things sports and the future of streaming for ViX. As TelevisaUnivision continues to offer more live sports events for Hispanic viewers, Urbina states, “The streaming ecosystem is changing. A lot of this has been learning and trying different things and figuring out how the audience responds.” As for the future of viewer experience, Urbina envisions a Twitch-type experience complete with split screens so viewers can see the commentator’s facial reactions and the live game they’re watching. Segundo dados do Instituto Nacional de Câncer (INCA), o câncer de próstata é o segundo tipo de câncer mais incidente em homens em todo o Brasil, atrás apenas dos tumores de pele não melanoma. A idade é o principal fator de risco, sendo mais incidente em homens a partir dos 60 anos de idade, mas o histórico familiar também aumenta as chances de desenvolver a doença. Em sua fase inicial, o câncer da próstata se desenvolve lentamente e pode apresentar nenhum sintoma. Na fase avançada, os sintomas podem incluir: • Vontade frequente de urinar, inclusive à noite; • Sangue na urina ou sêmen; • Fluxo da urina interrompido ou sensação de bexiga cheia, mesmo após urinar; • Dor ao urinar; • Disfunção erétil; • Dor nos ossos, como os do quadril, coxa, costas, entre outros. O Ministério da Saúde orienta que diante de qualquer sinal ou sintoma suspeito, os homens devem procurar ajuda médica.
