Researchers from the Korea Institute of Science and Technology have developed an ultrathin device that integrates organic electrochemical transistors (OECTs) with inorganic micro-LEDs for wireless monitoring of biomarkers. This 4μm-thick wearable patch can detect glucose, lactate, and pH levels by modulating light based on biomarker concentrations, showing great potential for fully chipless sensing systems in the future.
