🧩How does clot length impact recanalization? In the article "Computational Analysis of Effects of Clot Length on Acute Ischemic Stroke Recanalization under Different Cyclic Aspiration Loading Conditions." The study reveals that longer clots can fragment and cause arterial damage due to increased surface interactions. It suggests that single-pass aspiration might be insufficient for longer clots and highlights the need for combining methods and advanced modeling to improve outcomes. Read the full article for more insights into these findings. #StrokeResearch #MedicalEducation #ReADAPT #WeCanDoBetter

Congrats to the authors of "Experimental evaluation of the plunger technique" for publishing on #CyclicAspiration (#CyA), showing it significantly enhances complete clot ingestion (#CCI) during aspiration thrombectomy for ischemic stroke. This technique boosts first-attempt success, leading to better #ClinicalOutcomes for stroke patients and improving thrombectomy effectiveness. #StrokeTreatment #MedicalInnovation #HealthcareAdvancements #NeuroIntervention

Today, we're highlighting the study "Cyclical Aspiration Using a Novel Mechanical Thrombectomy Device Is Associated with a High TICI 3 First Pass Effect in Large-Vessel Strokes." This research shows that cyclical aspiration (#CyA) achieved 68% complete reperfusion on the first pass, significantly higher than existing devices. With 84% of patients showing good functional outcomes and low mortality, adding cyclic aspiration to aspiration thrombectomy holds great promise for improving results in large-vessel stroke (#AIS). Stay informed and inspired 🚀 #MedicalResearch #Thrombectomy #StrokeTreatment #EndovascularTherapy #ClinicalOutcomes #ReADAPT

Earlier this year, we surveyed 29 physicians to better understand their thrombectomy needs. 💡 While 93% of respondents use a pump during #strokethrombectomy, nearly 70% believe current pumps could be improved. This highlights the need for better aspiration solutions. At Von Vascular, we’re committed to delivering innovative solutions to support healthcare professionals and improve patient outcomes. #StrokeCare #Innovation #VonVascular
