Our Associated Schools of Construction (ASC) team has another trophy in their collection! Last week, students on the ASC Concrete team traveled to Chicago to compete in the Region 3 competition. After spending 16 hours preparing a full bid package and Building Information Model, the team earned a score of 94/100 and took home second place. Earlier this week, John Lawson, Executive Chairman of W. M. Jordan Company and co-founder of MLSoC, was honored as the Virginia Tech Class of 2026 class ring namesake. The class ring namesake is an honorary role that the officers of each class give to a distinguished alumni member or faculty member each year.
