It's been a full fall season so far at our divisions - check out what some of our teammates have been up to! 🌱 Our Verco teammates partnered with Dig it, Grow it, Share it, a nonprofit community garden in Phoenix, to help repaint their raised garden beds. 🔦Our Alabama teammates came together to support hurricane victims with generators, chainsaws, and other small supplies 🎃 Our Indiana teammates celebrated the season by hosting a fall festival and participating in the local county parade by passing out candy and Nucor Corporation swag while walking with a decorated truck 🍔 Some of our Texas teammates recently traveled to Little Rock, Arkansas, to partner with a customer (Lexicon) to provide burgers and serve attendees at a local job fair #vulcraftverco #teammates #community

Paul Lewberg, currently a Sales & Sales Service Supervisor at one of our Vulcraft Canada locations, spent 7 years serving in the United States Air Force. In his first 12 months, Paul attended basic training, weapons load school, and was deployed to the Middle East for the 1st Gulf War. After retiring from the Air Force in 1996, Paul completed his drafting degree and joined Nucor in 1997. He quickly discovered that Nucor's culture was extremely similar to that of the military, where he enjoyed a very close-knit family/team/"have your back" atmosphere and a focus ensuring that everyone made it home safely. In Paul's own words, "Given the culture and family atmosphere I experienced in the military, Nucor was without a doubt the best choice I could have made for my post-military career."
