Founder Danielle Atkinson is a powerhouse of knowledge and passion. Recently, Mothering Justice unveiled findings from their groundbreaking nationwide survey. This survey, involving over 1,000 mothers, shines a light on their views about Project 2025—the Heritage Foundation's policy agenda for the next Republican president. The survey captures critical insights, particularly from Black and brown women, about proposals that could reshape essential support systems like Head Start, affordable housing, food assistance, and healthcare.

#ClientHighlight This past weekend, more than 500 educators and leaders gathered to embody the spirit of "Higher Ground"—a theme that champions resilience, innovation, and the pursuit of a brighter future in education. It's the third time our VVK PR + Creative has supported this event for TeachMichigan and the energy is always truly inspiring. In line with this theme, the VVK PR + Creative's video production team was tasked with creating a video to kick off the day's events with a little heart and soul. We enlisted Detroit's own Angela Davis to deliver a stunning rendition of Stevie Wonder's "Higher Ground." Her performance, featuring cameos of educators and leaders dancing and singing along, set an inspiring tone for a weekend dedicated to connection and growth. We loved the fact that not only does Angela perform at major events like the #NFLDraft but she is also a special education teacher. TeachMichigan is committed to retaining high-impact educators and making Michigan the best place to be an educator.
