We are focused on helping our members achieve their financial goals and building stronger communities for everyone. VyStar membership is open to everyone who lives or works in the 49 contiguous counties of Central to North Florida, 10 Southern Georgia counties, and past and present military members and their families all over the world. We’ve always been about helping people in their financial lives. Our story began 70 years ago when 12 founding members had one bold idea: to create a safe place for our military and civil service members to save and borrow money. Stationed at Naval Air Station Jacksonville, they called the credit union Jax Navy Federal Credit Union. Still headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida, VyStar has grown to serve anyone who lives or works within our areas of service from Central Florida through Georgia. We’ve made it easy to join VyStar because we believe the more we grow, the more good we can do. VyStar Credit Union is the second-largest credit union headquartered in Florida and now serves more than 900,000 members with assets totaling over $13.5 billion. VyStar is the largest mortgage lender in Northeast Florida and a major employer in the region with over 2,000 employees across the communities it serves. VyStar membership is open to everyone who lives or works in the 49 contiguous counties of Central to North Florida, 26 Georgia counties and past and present military members and their families all over the world. We were honored to host the What a Leader finalists in the VyStar Board Room last week! Our Department VPs, Shades of Success, and Emerging Leaders VyStar Resource Groups had the privilege of serving as executive judges, witnessing these talented students deliver their final pitches and showcase their leadership potential. The What a Leader program, created by the Jacksonville Arts & Music School (JAMS), is all about empowering young leaders through hands-on experience and real-world challenges. It was incredibly rewarding to support these bright minds as they refined their presentation and networking skills. Congratulations to all the finalists! Each one walked away with a VyStar-branded backpack and a brand-new laptop—a small token of recognition for their hard work and dedication. We can’t wait to see how they shape the future! #withVyStar

Our employees love giving back to the community and partnering with Habitat for Humanity’s A Brush with Kindness program was an experience we won’t forget! Recently, our Suwanee and Peachtree Corners branch teams had the privilege of helping Mrs. Armada, a distinguished Air Force veteran and two-time cancer survivor with much-needed home repairs. Hearing her story, learning about her resilience, and seeing her smile made the day even more special. Connecting with homeowners like Mrs. Armada is what makes volunteering so meaningful for our staff. We’re honored to support those who have given so much! #withVyStar
