Wabash Valley Resources is taking this facility to the next level by remediating petcoke--an environmental waste product of the fossil fuel industry--via chemical processes to produce clean hydrogen and then clean nitrogen fertilizer (NH3) for America's farmers. The carbon dioxide produced in the hydrogen process will be permanently stored deep underground instead of being emitted into the atmosphere via smokestacks. The hydrogen will then be combined with nitrogen in a separate chemical process to produce clean nitrogen fertilizer. This world-class facility continues to help solve the world's problems from West Terre Haute, Indiana.
