This weekend, Chattanooga hosted the Ironman for the 10th straight year. Over 2,000 athletes completed the event, including two Walden Security Court Security Officers: Johnny Rogers from Chattanooga and Mike Stephens from Des Moines, Iowa. We were honored to support them and all competitors by volunteering at a water station. Security never sleeps. These are two of our Night Field Supervisors from Chattanooga: Anthony Garner & Terrancelee Johnson. They received SPOT Awards for helping cover when short a night Mobile Patrol Officer (MPO). As their Operations Manager highlights: “They are the silent professionals outside the limelight, ensuring all tasks are completed to standard and not failing an ounce. We wanted to recognize another unnamed officer in Chattanooga who went above and beyond to support those at their site. We couldn't be more grateful for their commitment to excellence. Thank you for your exemplary work: “I had an event at a club with lots of family and friends. While I was walking in, I noticed the Walden Guard sitting at the desk and always saying hello. This particular event was in the evening, and I was there early to assist in the setup. As I walked in to get onto the elevator, the Walden Guard noticed my hands were full and got onto the elevator to ensure I could get to the top floor. My parents came in some time later and they are well into their 80’s. The Walden Guard assisted my parents onto the elevator and with all the doors so they could easily get to our event. I heard numerous compliments throughout the evening about the guard being kind and helpful to many guests. He went above and beyond the entire evening, and I truly appreciated his professionalism and his thoughtfulness in helping everyone he could. This guard was exceptional.”

We often receive compliments on our officers after the fact, but many times, we don't know their names. But we know their professionalism and small acts of kindness make a big difference. Shoutout to all our officers who go above and beyond, like this officer in Nashville: “I parked in the garage and had the pleasure of meeting the Walden Security guard at the booth. Unfortunately, I did not get his name, but he was an older gentleman. I wanted to let whomever his superiors know that he was so kind to me. From the moment I met him to the moment I left, he was very professional in his appearance and approach. His uniform was very clean and well put together. He was very helpful in telling me where to park and how to get to where I was going. It was very evident that he takes pride in his job and is there to help those around him. I just wanted someone to know and to pass along what a great employee you have in him.”
