Three college interns pursuing law enforcement careers visited a Detroit Courthouse. The CSOs on duty explained the facets of their work, providing a great learning experience for the interns. Amidst the chaos of tropical storm Debby hitting Columbia, SC, Assistant Site Supervisor Shakura Wesley remained vigilant and spotted a potential problem - water seeping in through a patio door. Join us in wishing Emmanuel Irigoyen the best of luck as he embarks on the next step in his career! After a year of service as a security officer, he has completed his last shift with us and is now embarking on the next step in his career—joining the Marine Corps. Last week, he also received a SPOT Award for his work during a lockdown. He kept everyone informed and calm, showcasing a level of compassion to be commended. We’d like to highlight the work of two of our Central Technology Center (CTC) employees! They each received a SPOT Award for their work #SettingtheStandard by #SettingtheExample. • 𝐂𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐛𝐚𝐥 𝐑𝐨𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐮𝐞𝐳—𝐂𝐓𝐂 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫—On his way to work, he witnessed a car accident and stopped to help an individual. The individual was so thankful for his assistance, that they reached out to Walden Security, saying: “Your employee was calm and reassuring. He quickly assessed both of us to make sure we were ok, and to make sure no one else was in our vehicles that needed help. I was so impressed by him…Your employee is a hero and I am very thankful!” • 𝐊𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐚 𝐀𝐫𝐦𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠—𝐂𝐓𝐂 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐫—While auditing video footage, she noticed a possible trafficking incident. Thanks to her meticulous work, law enforcement was notified and able to save the lives of those involved.
