For the second time in two weeks, many of our associates and communities have felt the impact of a major hurricane. We want those affected to know we stand with you and we're working quickly to help aid in relief and recovery. Walmart, Sam's Club and the Walmart Foundation are committing an additional $6 million to support urgent relief, including grants to Volunteer Florida, the Hispanic Federation, Meals on Wheels, and other local organizations across the state. Overall, more than $23 million has been committed and raised by customers and members in the past two weeks to support communities recovering from both hurricanes. Before the storm made landfall, we positioned over 300 refrigerated trucks and 500 truckloads of essential supplies in key locations. We’ve assisted more than 5,000 Walmart and Sam’s Club associates with evacuations, and we'll continue to look for ways to support them through this time. As millions face the heartbreak of losing homes and power, we’re working with nonprofits and suppliers to set up mobile units in store parking lots and provide much-needed resources, including free meals, WiFi hotspots, charging stations and laundry and shower services. To support the thousands of Floridians who evacuated, we’re also working closely with shelters to provide essential supplies. We're in this together, and we’ll keep showing up for associates in the days ahead. Here’s how to stay connected and get the latest updates: https://walmrt.us/4h0W0eb

Today, 47 Walmart trucks arrived at stores, clubs and community organizations across South Carolina and North Carolina delivering essential supplies. A huge thank you to the drivers, associates and teams who are on the ground, teams working with local, state and federal officials, and serving communities in so many ways. We know there will be a long recovery ahead. Today is one piece of a larger and longer-term effort to help all of our impacted communities recover. Looking to help? We are matching donations to the American Red Cross 1:1, up to $2.5 million, when donations to support hurricane relief are made at the registers in stores and clubs and on Walmart.com from Sept. 30 – Oct. 13. If you’ve been impacted, check out our comprehensive list of resources and aid, including locations for mobile services like food, showers, and laundry. We’re here to support. https://walmrt.us/3XPPuyq #Helene

We are all so grateful for the many associates around the country who are coming together to support our friends and neighbors impacted by Hurricane Helene. I'm proud of our associates who are working hard to bring support to these areas with meals, water, Wi-Fi, charging stations and other assistance. Along with the Walmart Foundation, we’re starting with a commitment of $6 million to support local response efforts. I'm always inspired by how our customers and members look to help in these moments. So, as part of that commitment, we’re matching their generous donations to the American Red Cross 1:1, up to $2.5 million, when they donate in stores, clubs and on Walmart.com. To the many teams and individuals who are supporting the rescue and recovery efforts, thank you.

Our thoughts are with our associates, customers and members experiencing the devastating impacts of Hurricane Helene. We have been working closely with local leaders and organizations to assess needs, support associates and deliver donations of supplies to organizations supporting relief efforts. Walmart, Sam's Club and the Walmart Foundation are committing up to $6 million in support of hurricane relief efforts, including donations of food, water, essential supplies and grants, as well as matching customer donations 1:1, up to $2.5 million, when they donate to support hurricane relief at the registers in stores and clubs and on walmart.com starting next week. We’re also working with nonprofits and suppliers to bring much-needed resources into communities without access to power, such as free meals, WiFi hotspots, charging stations and laundry and shower services. Throughout the recovery, we'll continue looking for ways to support our associates and communities we serve. We’ll continue to update this webpage with information about our community support and status of stores and clubs: https://walmrt.us/helene

Great first day at Walmart's 11th annual Open Call! It always inspires me to witness the passion, creativity, and innovation suppliers that come to Open Call bring to the table. And what a treat to have entrepreneur, investor and "Shark Tank" star Daymond John speak to the group and share some best practices on entrepreneurship. For our largest sourcing event of the year, Open Call invites businesses from across America to pitch their products made, grown or assembled in the U.S. to be sold on Walmart or Sam's Club shelves or online. This year, we invited over hundreds of finalists from 48 states, as well as D.C. and Puerto Rico, to Bentonville to meet with our merchants. One exciting add this year: For the first time, we've invited Walmart merchants from Canada and Mexico to Open Call, creating an opportunity for suppliers to export their U.S. products to these international markets. This will help suppliers expand to create more jobs, open new manufacturing facilities and reach new customers. And let the fun begin tomorrow – hearing pitches and giving golden tickets to our future suppliers. #WalmartOpenCall
