Testimonial Tuesday "I am the spouse of a now retired 30-year veteran of the Oklahoma City Police Department. My husband and I have been married for 28 of those 30 years. In 2018 I attended my very first Post Critical Incident Seminar thinking I was going to support him in a past Critical Incident of his. While at PCIS I learned that I needed to deal with some childhood trauma of my own and I did, and it was a complete game changer for my life, my marriage and relationships. In this very safe and very confidential environment of PCIS I learned how to process things in a healthy way along with my husband and I learning how to communicate better. Today I’m so happy that we still use the tools we learned at PCIS and continue to put in the work so can we live a very healthy and happy life together. After my time at PCIS I felt lead to become a certified peer and pay it forward. Today I volunteer my time to work with other First Responder Spouses & Families at PCIS and am the Oklahoma Liaison for How2LoveOurCops."
