Washington Area Federal Credit Union is a member-owned financial institution committed to quality service and sound financial management. We believe in the philosophy of “People helping people.” Established in 1959, primarily for the purpose of serving the Washington Area School Districts and their immediate families, we have expanded our field of membership and included multiple businesses in the local community. Washington Area FCU offers a complete menu of financial products and services. Savings products, vehicle loans, mortgages, home equity loans, credit cards, home and mobile banking, mobile deposit, Apple/Google/Samsung pays, VISA checkout and financial planning are only a small list of possibilities our members enjoy.
