Last week our Executive and #VancouverWA teams had the opportunity to support the Vancouver community by helping stock four food pantries in Clark County, WA. Food insecurity is a growing challenge, and food pantries provide direct support to those in need. While visiting, our teams were able to donate high need non-perishable items and produce used by the pantries. Thank you Live Love Outreach, FISH of Vancouver, Share, and FISH of Orchards for all you are doing.

Habitat for Humanity Seattle-King County has just broken ground on their largest project ever — a 58-home affordable housing development in Columbia City. This incredible project will help inch the state closer to meeting its housing unit needs in the years to come. Washington Trust was proud to play a part in helping make this project a reality by providing a below-market loan. Working with community partners, we’re confident that affordable housing solutions that transform lives and neighborhoods can be found. https://lnkd.in/gsgwhZUr

Special thanks to the staff at Self Enhancement, Inc. for taking the time to meet with Washington Trust representatives Wendy Yuvienco and Tien Nguyen as they delivered this year’s school supplies and donation. As part of our 2024 School Supply Drive, our Portland office donated a record number of supplies to SEI, along with a $500 check to help further their mission of guiding underserved youth in realizing their full potential. What a great way to start the school year!
