So many of us have benefitted from his mentorship and his understanding of this industry. Over the past 25 years, he has made Waste Recruiters the greatest hiring resource in the industry, and has left a great legacy. Rapidly growing waste/recycling company has an immediate opening for a bilingual Area Fleet Manager, based out of Raleigh, NC. In this role, you will be responsible for managing over 100 vehicles and 50 pieces of heavy equipment across 9 locations...landfills, transfer stations, and hauling operations.  We are looking for an experienced leader/manager with knowledge of both rolling stock and yellow iron as well as experience with managing multiple locations. Key Responsibilities include: Implementing PM/ Maintenance Tracking program Ensuring compliance with safety standards Leading a team of maintenance professionals Budget management Overseeing preventive and corrective maintenance on all equipment Managing vendor relationships Emergency response planning.
