Water Country's Social Impact Committee spent 2 hours on Friday participating in a beach cleanup at Hampton Beach, hosted by Blue Ocean Society for Marine Conservation. Embracing sustainability is one of Water Country's core values, and the experience allowed the team to work together to reduce litter and identify the types of debris most commonly found on the beach. 

This weekend, Water Country hosted a Leadership Summit for 30 of our seasonal leadership team, where we discussed our company’s mission and values, tips for first-time leaders, safety and communication among other important topics. What a fantastic kick-off to our 2024 training programs! We are so proud of this team!

Have you met Vicky? Our Guest Experience Manager, Vicky, started working seasonally at Water Country in 2015. She used to work in schools and wanted a summer job with a flexible schedule. Vicky has come a long since then! She was a Gift Shop Supervisor in 2015, moving into Cash Control in 2018, then a Finance Assistant in 2020, and in 2021, landed in her current full-time position.       Her favorite thing about working here is watching team members come back every year and seeing them grow in their skills and abilities. She even grew up coming to Water Country every summer for her birthday with her Grandparents. "The opportunity to work at Water Country was surreal for me. I've been going since it opened in 1984. I remember how scary the Geronimo attraction was and how, every year on my birthday, my grandparents would take me to Burger King and then over to Water Country to have some fun." This past week Water Country rolled out the red carpet to celebrate our team for another successful summer!
