This is Nyirongo, a brick builder in Zambia. Nyirongo needs just $350 to make this dream a reality! In hope and faith, he’s put “skin in the game” by already making a $100 deposit to get a NUMA Now safe water connection for his home and business. Now through Dec. 31, when you give at https://lnkd.in/ggPC6UR5, your gift will be matched by the Paul Milburn Gift Fund to help bring safe water to the homes of 1,000 families like Nyirong and help them flourish!

Our Managing Director of NUMA recently visited one of our customers in Mayuge District. Segere Taddeo bought a NUMA Now piped water connection at his farm to irrigate his cabbage, eggplant, coffee, and passion fruit. Having NUMA water has saved him countless hours fetching water, improved his yields, and allowed him to make better decisions about what to grow, when to fertilize, and how to increase his returns to expand his farm. This is what safe water piped to where people work, live, and learn, can do. #safewater #business

#StopGalamseyNow: A Call to Action for Our Precious Water Resources in Ghana 💧🌊 In recent weeks, the hashtag #StopGalamseyNow has resonated across social media platforms, shining a critical spotlight on the rampant illegal mining activities that are devastating our water bodies in Ghana. These activities not only threaten the ecological balance but also jeopardize the health and livelihoods of countless communities that depend on clean water for survival. At 4ward Development West Africa, we recognize the urgent need for action in this crucial moment of water scarcity. As a safe water marketer, our mission is to ensure that every individual has access to clean, safe drinking water. We are committed to addressing the consequences of illegal mining, which contaminates our rivers, lakes, and aquifers, making them unsafe for consumption and leading to a public health crisis. Our efforts at 4ward Development West Africa include: 1. Awareness Campaigns: We are actively engaging communities to raise awareness about the impacts of illegal mining on water quality and public health. Education is the first step toward change 2. Sustainable Water Solutions: We are pioneering the implementation of sustainable water solutions technologies such as the Numa Now in rural communities we operate in 3. Collaborative Initiatives: We are partnering with local governments, NGOs, and community leaders to provide safe, reliable drinking water to the communities we serve to help end health crisis associated with water 4. Advocacy for Policy Change: We are advocating for stronger regulations against illegal mining and supporting efforts that promote responsible mining practices that prioritize the health of our environment and our communities The fight against illegal mining is not just an environmental issue; it's a humanitarian one. As we rally under the banner of #StopGalamseyNow, let’s unite to protect our water resources and ensure a sustainable future for generations to come. Join us in this vital cause. Together, we can make a difference! 💪🌍 #WaterScarcity #SustainableDevelopment #4wardDevelopmentWestAfrica #CleanWater #CommunityEmpowerment #EnvironmentalProtection

Health restored to Kabongo community in Zambia through NUMA! With a NUMA Now safe water connection right outside the door, the Kabongo Rural Health Center has seen the rate of diseases drop significantly. “In the past, we used to draw water from distant locations but now it has been brought to our doorstep. Furthermore, this water is even cleaner and has reduced the burden of diarrhea cases caused by consuming contaminated water. This is definitely a development landmark for the people of Kabongo. Thank you NUMA Zambia for coming on board to relieve us!” - Sichela Kambole, Clinical Officer at Kabongo Rural Health Center This is what NUMA can do. #safewater #business
