Meet Waterloo Fiber's summer interns, Jack and Sophia! Jack is a Direct Sales Intern who comes to us from the University of Iowa. He enjoys golf and soccer. When asked why he wants to work at Waterloo Fiber he responded, "I had initially wanted to work at Waterloo Fiber as an intern to obtain credit through the U of I. However, as I learned more about the company I started to love what they were doing for the Waterloo community. I loved how Waterloo Fiber was providing fast and reliable service to the people of Waterloo for an affordable cost. Coming from someone who has lived in Waterloo my entire live I can truly say that is what the people deserve." He truly loves his role at Waterloo Fiber including being involved with current day-to-day duties in the office and in the field! When asked about his experience he stated, "The experience I have gained in this internship enables me to have a deep understanding not only in internet, but skills that will allow me to succeed in my professional career." Sophia is a Direct Sales Intern who comes to us from Central College where she's studying Kinesiology and playing volleyball. After graduation she wants to go on to physical therapy school and become a physical therapist. When she's not in class, working, or in a gym you could probably find her reading a book or driving around with friends. When asked about her internship she says, "I love working for Waterloo Fiber because of all the connections we get to make. I really enjoy talking to people face-to-face and getting their feedback in order to improve our company and make it even more customer friendly! I also enjoy how close our entire team is as a whole and how well everyone's skills mesh together." Help us welcome and congratulate Jack and Sophia on their summer internships here at Waterloo Fiber!
