Hello! Wayne RESA is Wayne County's Regional Educational Service Agency. We are dedicated to service, leadership, collaboration and excellence to support our more than 260,000 students across Wayne County and their teachers, administrators and staff. Watch how our team of more than 250 supportive experts provide education programs, training, services and support aimed at student achievement for our students who attend schools within the 33 local districts and 99 public school academies that represent the 43 communities we serve.

In the second part of this professional development this week, we focused on how we can best support our students who are experiencing homelessness and our multilingual students. As we close #NationalSchoolBusSafety Week, we celebrate our transportation and special education teams! Recently they partnered to lead an all-day free training for nearly 400 student transportation providers, 20 guest speakers, and 20 volunteers who attended, discussing how to best care for our students with special needs. The training focused on critical skills like building empathy, self-awareness, and communication. #WeAreWayneRESA
