Save the date! Join us on December 10th for the Arkansas Black Philanthropy Collaborative's 4th Annual Convening at the DoubleTree Little Rock - Salon D. Despite the “racial reckoning” of 2020, many nonprofits remain unable to access the tools, resources, and networks needed to impact communities of color. The recent backlash to diversity, equity and inclusion efforts has only compounded existing issues within philanthropy, leaving many organizations searching for answers. On December 10th, we will examine who is standing in the gap to ensure that historically marginalized groups are receiving the support needed from funders and local leaders. We will also explore how to harness our collective giving power to support those who are serving the most vulnerable communities in Arkansas. Stay connected with ABPC for future updates on the annual convening! #ABPC

At the recent The Community Investment Network conference in Birmingham, Alabama, our chair Derek Lewis II led an inspiring conversation on The Impact of Collaboration to Design Black-Led Solutions for Social Change in the South. These discussions are key to driving real change and moving us closer to our goals of empowering Black-led initiatives and making a lasting impact in our communities. #ABPC #CommunityInvestNetwork
