There is no equitable economic recovery without shared ownership of our economy and its businesses.
About us
The Democracy at Work Institute expands the promise of cooperative business ownership to reach those communities most directly affected by social and economic inequality. It ensures that further growth in the worker cooperative movement is both rooted in worker cooperatives themselves and reaches out to new communities of worker-owners.

Our RRC Program works hard so excluded workers get access to good jobs and a better quality of life for their families and communities. This is why we're so excited to share about our new RRC Cohort. This cohort is a space for co-op developers and actors to learn more about Rapid Response Cooperatives so this model helps as many excluded workers as possible.
