 🌍 United against wildfires: EU in Emergencies in action 🔥    When Albania and North Macedonia called for help to combat devastating wildfires, the EU responded with swift, coordinated support through the #EUCivilProtection Mechanism:    🇷🇴 Romania deployed a military plane to Albania   🇮🇹 Italy sent firefighting planes to Albania.   🇩🇪🇸🇪 Germany and Sweden mobilised planes, while 🇨🇾 Cyprus sent firefighting aircraft to North Macedonia. 🇸🇮 Slovenia and 🇷🇸 Serbia contributed rescue and firefighting helicopters, with additional helicopter support from 🇨🇿 the Czech Republic.    In times of crisis, we stand together as one #EUCivilProtection family.    #WeBalkans #WesternBalkans #EUforYOU EU Neighborhood & Enlargement
