In a much anticipated decision, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court has now defined parentage to include intent-based parentage in the landmark case Glover v Junior. A groundbreaking decision by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court today would require insurance carriers, third-party administrators and self-insured employers to pay for a broad array of non-prescription items including: ▶️ over-the-counter medications ▶️ dietary supplements ▶️ non-FDA approved analgesics ▶️ CBD oil It would also directly cover expensive treatments or therapies that we are seeing more frequently, including high-cost infrared heating pads. It's Tax Filing Season! Now is the time to gather your important tax documents and ensure a smooth filing process. Pro Tip: If you have children, make sure to have an executed IRS 8332 form to claim them on your tax return. The IRS defaults to the parent with majority custody if there's no form. Find out more about what you need this tax season in this #FamilyLaw Blog by partner, Carolyn Mirabile: https://lnkd.in/e6REtc_b #TaxFiling #TaxSeason
