Description of Services
• Advise on regulatory compliance arising from permitting, zoning, land use, and historic districts matters.
• Identify prospective commercial and residential real estate development projects.
• Recommend relevant tax credits and financing opportunities.
• Draft legislative-based economic incentives for real estate and business development.
• Execute feasibility studies to determine the best use of resources and corresponding entitlement requirements.
• Strategic planning to anticipate potential difficulties and delays.
• Represent clients in zoning requests and public hearings before boards and commissions.
• Lead project manager on zoning requests and development ventures.
• Project-based tax incentives and income tax credit programs including: Historic Tax Credits (State & Federal) and Restoration Tax Abatement (local property tax abatement)
• Economic Incentive Programs including: Façade Improvement Grant; Fresh Food Initiative, PILOT Program, and Enterprise Zone
