  • Interview Tips from a COO (Chief Operating Officer) I spoke with this week... The 20/20/20 method. 20 minutes - Interviewer asks all the questions they have in mind, looking for concise responses with examples and relevant information. 20 minutes - Interviewee gets to ask all the questions they wish about the position, company, and hiring manager. 20 minutes - Q&A - Question & Answer period for both to confirm if it is a good fit. (This ends up being less than 20 minutes due to rapport building/introductions). *Importance on not skipping building rapport out of the gates. Finding out who the person is, what drives them, common interests, latest life events, etc. **If you have 45 min or 30 min instead of the 60 just cut these down accordingly. 15/15/15 or 10/10/10.
