Weisiger Group, formerly known as CTE (Carolina Tractor & Equipment) is the premier equipment and service provider for the construction, electric power generation, and material handling industries in the Southeast, with close to 2,000 employees. Carolina Cat was thrilled to host 8th graders from SERMs at our Greensboro branch! The students got hands-on with everything from operating a mini excavator to riding in an articulated truck. They navigated our simulator, practicing how to load dirt into a dump truck and use a bulldozer for land grading. Beyond machinery, they explored the crucial roles of parts ordering, shipping, and were also introduced to the innovative tech we use, including drones and GPS for land grading and surveying.
