When this little fellow arrived at the shelter earlier this week, he had been badly burned in a house fire. Thanks to the quick response and skills of our partners at Animal Hospital Wenatchee, this lucky little man is on the road to recovery. Animal Hospital veterinarian Dr. O’Brien said he was lucky to be alive, but that his burns will heal and his lungs sound great. O'Brien, named in honor of the vet that saved his life, is now recovering in foster care. Thank you to everyone who stepped in to help!

WVHS has partnered with EarthWise Pet Supply & Grooming in Wenatchee, Firehouse Pet Shop - Wenatchee / Station No.1 and Petco in East Wenatchee to Save a Tiny Life and support individuals and families caring for unweaned kittens by providing FREE kitten nursing kits. Each kit includes formula, feeding bottles, nursing nipples, and feeding instructions for caring for unweaned kittens, ensuring their proper nutrition and care. Save A Tiny Life! The 2023 Annual Report is here! We are excited to share with you our 2023 Annual Report that highlights the amazing work made possible by gifts of time and money from our supporters in NCW and beyond. 

186 pets were spayed and neutered at a two-day clinic offering affordable surgeries to the public this month. A huge shoutout to Dr. Radha Ganesan and her team and all the amazing volunteers who worked so hard to make the clinic a success!

Thank you to everyone who walked their dog last Saturday on a beautiful May morning at the first annual Pets & People Outdoors Dog Walk at Saddle Rock.
