Wesley Family Services, located in Southwestern Pennsylvania, is a regional human services organization with headquarters in the Pittsburgh area. It is our mission to empower children, adults, and families by providing transformational care. Our programs include Aging Services, Autism Services, Behavioral Health Services, Child Welfare and Juvenile Justice Programs, Community Empowerment Programs, Education, Foster Care, and services for those with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. We strive to create a work environment that is positive and rewarding for its employees; a setting where growth, teamwork, diversity, health and safety are means to meet the charge of our mission. Grandma Marlene Robinson from Swissvale, Allegheny County is October's Classroom Grandparent of the Month! Grandma Marlene first became a Foster Grandparent while living in Erie, and she decided to continue her service when she moved back to Pittsburgh. She loves working with the babies and toddlers at her Station, Angels' Place. "It [Classroom Grandparents] is a wonderful program," she says. "It gives you an opportunity to be compassionate and watch out for the wellbeing of children, not to mention it keeps you active."
