Recently, our own Brad Robertson and Josh Keating were yet again great examples of being #Rooted and building #Relationships in the communities where we live and work. Beech Grove Golf Outings are something we look forward to every time and this time was no different, especially being able to play alongside Beech Grove Mayor Jim Coffman, Phil Gurganus and John Seward. It was a pleasure, and we look forward to the next one!

There is no water problem we can't solve together.
About us
Wessler Engineering is a civil and environmental engineering firm, specializing in wastewater, drinking water, and stormwater projects, providing services ranging from master planning and design to construction administration and process energy audits. Founded in 1975 and based in Indianapolis, Indiana with other offices throughout the state in Carmel, Evansville, Fort Wayne, Northwest Indiana, and West Lafayette, as well as Bluffton and Grove City, Ohio. We build relationships with clients in both public and private sectors. Our clients in state government agencies, municipalities, counties, industries, and private utilities receive creative design and quality service. While we take great pride in the projects we complete for our clients, we are even prouder of the relationships we build. When we start planning and designing for a client, it’s much More than a Project™. The partnership we create is just as important as the project itself, and we know the best way to establish a solid relationship is by providing the highest quality design and best service available. Wessler is more than an engineering consulting firm; our clients receive a wealth of experience and creativity in any civil or environmental project they ask us to do. From the early planning stages to operation and maintenance, our engineers will work until the project is complete and until we have a firm foundation to continue building our relationship.

Taking our core value Rooted to a whole other level (or should we say sub-level?)! Brad and Josh were out from midnight to 5AM recently for a client doing night flow infiltration observation and testing in their sewer manholes. #morethanaproject #thewesslerway

Excited to see how far along the project has come and the tremendous value it’ll add once operational! Hamilton County, Indiana
It’s been a year since Hamilton County broke ground on the Baker’s Corner/US31 Infrastructure Investment Project. The $45 million project aims to extend sewer and water utilities to the Baker’s Corner area, located just north of Westfield on US-31. The project should be operational by the first quarter of 2025, allowing residents to begin connecting to the utilities.

Wessler Engineering reposted this
Attached is an article from the October 13th, 2024 edition of the Columbus Dispatch...a sobering reality in what many consider to be Ohio's boom time. The trends in the article are not new, in fact, the writing has been on the wall for over a decade. The decline of the Heartland is documented in books such as "Hollowing Out the Middle" (Carr/Kefalas, 2010) and "Caught in the Middle" (Longworth, 2007) and ghosts of the "Rust Belt" are evident in many mid-sized communities I've visited. Demographics and population shifts fascinate me. Understanding the trends in aging and generational differences is a complex thing. My appreciation and understanding of these complex issues has manifested itself in the worlds in which I've worked: education, community and economic development. Now, I see how this ties back to infrastructure. Wessler Engineering faces this question in our work with communities across Ohio and Indiana. It is not easy to plan for an uncertain future, but by working together to build communication, relationships, and trust, these challenges can become opportunities.
