Free mammograms and clinical breast exams are available to women who qualify in 16 southwest Michigan counties through a program called BC3NP. The program is coordinated locally through Kalamazoo County Health and Community Services. If cancer is found, women can also receive follow up care, medical referrals and cancer treatment. Last weekend's Zumba Party in Pink in Kalamazoo was a huge success, thanks to all our fitness-minded friends who showed up to focus attention on breast cancer screening and detection. With the help of a matching donor, $3,050 was raised to support WMCC patient care services!
