One of the most important keys to the operation of a property is the establishment of a good resident relations program. In 1998, our Customer CARES Program was established to ensure that our residents have the ability to communicate openly and thoroughly about both positive and negative issues in their communities. At Western National, we believe that it’s the management company's responsibility to have satisfied residents. This can only be accomplished by maintaining open lines of communication and responding to residents’ needs in a timely manner. Recently, we were asked to sponsor a Charity Golf Event, for Laura's House, a domestic violence survivor center. Laura’s House Domestic Violence Advocacy Center aims to provide clients with the support, encouragement, empowerment, and education necessary to break the cycle of violence and move forward in their lives. So obviously, on behalf of ResidentRadius I said YES! This is a charity very close to the heart of Laura Khouri, Michael K. Hayde and Western National Property Management and many more. Laura shared her story of homelessness as a teenager, gut wrenching story, but I always think of my own husband, as a young teenager, along with his little 2 year old brother and his mother, were living in a shelter because of violent domestic abuse, and were hidden for their safety so these organizations are important to communities.
